The Green Story
We Use 1/10th the Water of a Home Carwash. (The Earth is Doing a Happy Dance.)
Did you know that only 3% of the world’s water is fresh water? Experts predict that by 2025, two-thirds of the world’s population may face water shortages. That’s why we need to use this precious resource wisely. At AquaWave, we’re committed to using the latest technologies – plus good old-fashioned common sense – to conserve our water supply and protect our environment.
We use just 15 gallons of water per car wash. How do we do it? Each car is automatically measured as it enters the wash tunnel. Then the right amounts of water and solutions are released as the car passes under each piece of equipment.
85% of the water we use is pre-filtered and recycled for other uses. That gives our water conservation efforts a lasting, renewable impact.
We’re proud to use a new generation of eco-friendly, biodegradable cleaning products. And we virtually eliminate runoff into soil and waterways. After the washes, we collect the solutions and oils, and deposit them safely where they can’t contaminate. The leftover water passes through an advanced water separation and reclamation system, where it’s pre-filtered and sent to sanitary sewers – NOT to storm drains, which lead to natural waterways.
